Frequently Asked Question

What is Ghar Wapsi?

Ghar Wapasi means Home Coming. Since it’s a documented fact that Judaism is 5,000 years old and founded by Abraham, later, Jesus founded Christianity, Mohammed started Islam, and there is no founder of Hinduism, which is found to be the most ancient religion and prevalent in the oldest continuous civilization in India, all humans have their ancestry in Hinduism. Hinduism doesn’t exclude anyone from its fold. An atheist, LGBTQ, and tribals are also respected paths to truth in Hinduism; all are considered as Hindus by the majority of Hindus. This is one more reason to understand that all humans of this world have their ancestry in Hinduism. Anyone who realizes this fact and reverts back to his ancestor’s original religion is considered to do homecoming (Ghar Wapasi).

What Makes Hinduism Different?

There are different rituals prescribed in the Hindu scriptures and culture. The famous one is holding a Yagya (fire ritual) and meditating on Parmatama (Supreme soul) while doing a japa. The other simple way is to start doing meditation and start considering divinity in everything. A person is free to choose the method as per his or her own calling on how they can start feeling that all beings are divine and start giving respect to divinity. Be it human or animal, be it death or life, be it happiness or pain, all is part of the supreme soul and has divinity in it. All ways of Ghar Wapasi are acceptable. Going to the temple and feeling the divinity in nature is another way to help yourself connect with your own ancestors’ religion.

What if I refuse to do Ghar Wapasi?

Hindus who were spread across the world before the invention of new age religions (Islam, Judaism, and christianity) are just left only in India. Only 1.3 Billion people in the world consider themselves Hindu out of 7 Billion people of the world. Hindus never force people to accept their faith only and ask their followers to act against other human being just because other people believe in the god in different way. There is no consequences for you if you do not do Ghar Wapasi. You will kee paying a monthly Zakat or tithi to mosque or church and force to work for spreading ur viewpoint to rest of the population. Your focus on life will be on serving ur religion while ur kids may be abused by the same institution. We have seen how church and mosque protect the rapists pastors and maulvis. Scriptures of christian and muslims justify exclusion of LGBTQ and atheist from their religion. Some ask their followers to stone LGbTQ and do worse with apostates. If you don’t do Ghar Wapasi, you leave the risk open for your kids to get abused by the institions that identify themselves as the sole authority over truth. Hindus know that Truth has authority over all and Never stand with rapists. Doing Ghar Wapasi will help you and your kids to i’ve better life.

Will I get any money or gifts if I do Ghar Wapasi ?
